The collected flowers are processed by our trained Village women to turn them into premium quality incense sticks. The sticks are then hand packed by the women into handmade sleeves before packing them into boxes. The flower-based sticks are infamous for frequently halting combustion halfway. Our incense sticks have undergone rigorous research and development to overcome this problem. They burn smoothly throughout the length of the stick.
Hitah is also crafting 100% natural beeswax floating candles and bars that are as close to the nature as possible. The wax candles burn for long and smooth without spluttering. The raw material is collected from the tribal communities who are known to mostly follow sustainable lifestyle. The beeswax is not chemically cleaned. Hitah prefers to use natural beeswax for their products than plant-based wax that is not only an extensively processed product but that takes away valuable land that can be used for food cultivation to alleviate hunger.

Significance of the name and the logo
The drawing on the left with dots and lines, is called Kolam. In Tamil Nadu India, there is a tradition of drawing simple to intricate designs with rice powder at the house entrance before the sun rises. The designs are almost always done by women irrespective of their financial or literacy status. The design does not have a start or an end point, denoting the universal force. These designs with dots and curves require creativity and concentration, that are aspects of femininity. Rice powder is used in this art to provide a source of food for insects and small animals, integrating an element of altruism in daily life. The Kolam art added to the logo is a tribute to those women who have kept the tradition alive.
